Justin Bieber's pastor Carl Lentz hires Meghan Markle's PR firm 'to save his reputation' following cheating scandal

EMBATTLED Carl Lentz has hired Meghan Markle's PR firm in a bid to "save his reputation" – as he starts a new life in Los Angeles after his cheating scandal was exposed, The Sun can exclusively reveal.

Justin Bieber's former pastor, who was fired by the Hillsong megachurch in New York following "years of infidelity," has signed up with Hollywood-based Sunshine Sachs as he plans to rebuild his career.

The agency confirmed to The Sun he is now on their roster of celebrity clients, which also includes the Duchess of Sussex.

A source close to Hillsong said: "It's no surprise Carl now has new representation in LA, and they know how to handle the big stuff.

"He's trying to save his reputation and will probably be using them as an 'in' for his TV work."

Carl is also still believed to be signed with United Talent in Los Angeles, which has an impressive list of celebs, including Ryan Seacrest.

Sources previously told The Sun Carl wants to pursue a career in television and his "dream" is to land a "faith-based Netflix series," although the streaming service is yet to set up a meeting.

He has made several TV appearances over the years and gotten close to a number of stars, including Oprah Winfrey, a member of Meghan and Harry's inner circle.

Another insider alleges he is "planning to start some kind of church" in Manhattan Beach, where he is believed to be staying with his wife Laura and their three children.

Sunshine Sachs, which reps a number of high profile names, continues to represent the Duchess of Sussex after she relocated to LA earlier this year when her and Prince Harry stepped down as senior royals.

They faced a backlash for giving up their royal duties and signing their own multi-million-dollar megawatt Netflix deal to make a TV series, films and children's shows.

The couple are now settling into their new life after purchasing a $14.65 million estate in Montecito and recently launched their Archewell Foundation.

Meanwhile, Carl was spotted in LA for the first time this week, heading out with wife Laura and their children for dinner, before a day of meditating on the beach shirtless.

Sources claim he is still motivated by "money and fame" and plans to get his career back on track after laying low in his new neighborhood and rebuilding trust in his 17-year marriage.

Following the explosive details of his affair with New York beauty Ranin Karim, The Sun revealed that “at least three more women” have come forward with claims of a romance with the minister.

Ranin revealed she first met Carl, 42, back in May at Domino Park in Brooklyn, when he approached her to flirt and made claims he was an unmarried sports agent.

She went on to say that the pair "loved each other" and had a “strong sexual connection” during the couple’s five-month secret rendezvous.

Their relationship took a turn after she claimed Carl’s wife saw all of their messages – including "naughty photos" – which were connected to his work computer at the church office, with several co-workers present.

Following the shocking revelation, Hillsong church founder Brian Houston announced an investigation is underway by a NYC legal firm to explore "wider cultural issues."

A source close to Hillsong, who says Carl's infidelity was well-known among churchgoers, also told The Sun: "We do hope to talk to the investigators as we were treated horribly.

"I think we all now know that Carl was a mess. Hopefully their investigation will find the truth and deal with it, as we honestly love Hillsong.

They added: "There are a ton of cultural issues they need to solve. I hope they can."

The Sun has reached out to Carl's rep for comment.
