Bailly was linked with a move to AC Milan over the summer.

Dean Henderson may be forced to leave United if he wants to establish himself as England's first choice goalkeeper.

England manager Gareth Southgate has reportedly told the 23-year-old he needs to be playing regularly at club level in order to challenge Jordan Pickford for the No1 jersey.

Henderson returned to Old Trafford in the summer after two years on loan at Sheffield United but has played back-up to David De Gea so far this season.

Jimenez told TUDN: “One day I woke up and Juventus wanted me, another Manchester United and what I know is that there were approaches made.

“But an agreement was never reached and nothing was close. I'm very happy at Wolves.

“The truth is I am very happy in Wolverhampton.

“It's never wrong to be in a place where you are well but they know that I am not satisfied [with my form], I always look for more.”

    BAILLY TO ITALY?

Eric Bailly's agent has talked up a potential move to Italy for his client.

The Ivorian was reportedly offered to AC Milan over the summer, with Graziano Battistini explaining his agency may review Bailly's situation at Old Trafford.

Battistini said: “The boy is at an important club in United, so before evaluating an exit there must be absolutely valid reasons for doing so.

“The Milan idea may be logical, but we need to evaluate many implications, today we are talking about nothing.

“If he has the right chance, for me he can be an important player to solve some of the team’s problems.

“If all this does not happen, it is clear that the situation will need to be assessed, but now it is too early to say certain things.”

Harry Kane is capable of knocking United legend Wayne Rooney of the top of England's goalscoring charts, according to Gareth Southgate.

The England boss told reporters: “In terms of what is possible, the goalscoring record is the really interesting one because his strike rate for us is phenomenal and he has time on his side to chase Wayne Rooney's record, which would be a remarkable feat.

“I know from his perspective, while the personal achievement is something he is driven towards, it is the team achievement.

“He is so focused on the team having success and he would want to look back over the next few years at the team achieving.”

“So in this game she plays two +4 [cards], and she lays down +4 twice.

“She's young, she doesn't know so sometimes you ask, do you have any other cards to put down and when I asked, she put another +4 down, so I take another 8 cards.

“Then I got rid of all these cards – bang bang bang and I won that game.

“I needed to win because I was so angry that she put me twice +4 … she made me pick up all these cards!

“My wife was looking at me and she said to me, “You are always the same.””

“I was like, “Hey, I've missed one penalty in 11 and he's talking to me about this”, because he never scored a penalty in all the years he was playing football!

“But this kind of situation helps you improve because all the time you know you have people behind you who will always ask more and demand more from you.”

    AL TO PLAY FOR

Inter Milan have hit back at 'offensive' remarks made by Chile's national team boss over Alexis Sanchez's dreadful injury record.

The ex-United star, 31, is once again struggling with a knock and is a doubt for his country's must-win World Cup qualifiers, which prompted coach Reinaldo Rueda to claim Inter were treating Sanchez and Chile with a 'colonial' attitude.

In response, Inter accused the South Americans of mishandling the player in a statement which read: “Inter consider the recent remarks stated by Reinaldo Rueda, the head coach of the Chile national team, to be unacceptable, offensive, and inaccurate.

“The club has always had maximum collaboration and excellent relations with all the staff of the national teams.

“Specifically, in the case of Alexis Sanchez, the player has encountered a physical problem in almost all of his call-ups to his national team.”

    YES WE JAN

Former Man Utd playmaker Adnan Januzaj is reportedly being lined up for a shock return to the Premier League from Real Sociedad.

Premier League sides Brighton and Southampton are interested in signing the Belgian national, according to Belgian publication HLN via Metro.

Januzaj, 25, has fallen out of favour at Sociedad, making just two starts for the Spanish side this season.

This has put the Prem sides on high alert and it is claimed that a deal for around £25million could be struck for the player, although he has a £54m release clause in his contract.

Despite falling down the pecking order at Sociedad, they still seem to want him as part of their squad.

They recently turned down offers from both AC Milan and Roma who wanted to take him on loan.

HLN also claim that the Spanish outfit are looking to extend his current deal which ends in 2022.

    ON THE PAUL

France boss Didier Deschamps believes Paul Pogba is a shadow of himself due to his poor form for Man Utd this season.

Speaking after the defeat to Finland, he said: “He's not in his best form, of course. I knew that before the game.

“This match was meant to give him some rhythm. He knew that he would only play for an hour.

“It's hard to remember to be positive. Obviously, he's not in one of his better periods.”

    UNITED VISION

Man Utd Women's boss Caset Stoney has slammed Megan Rapinoe after the American stated it was 'disgraceful' that the it took the club so long to make a team.

Stoney said: “She's about two years too late for the comments, but people are going to have their say, it's a big club.

“When you go to United you get used to that. It's water off a duck's back to me.

“I came in and everyone criticised the club for not having a women's team, but I know the reasons why, when and how they wanted to do it properly.

“It wasn't resourced with staff beforehand for it to be able to be done the way it is now. I believe we're in a good place.”

    ROLL THE DY

Paulo Dybala's contract talks with Juventus have reportedly stalled – and that could allow Manchester United to steal in.

The Argentine striker, 26, could be available for around £70million next year from the Serie A giants.

United chiefs see him as a much cheaper and experienced alternative to Borussia Dortmund's England star Jadon Sancho.

The Germans want £110m for Sancho.

Juve came close to selling Dybala to United for £90m last summer.

La Gazetta dello Sport claim the Turin club are struggling to agree a new contract with the South American.

His agent, Jorge Antun, has returned to Argentina so fresh talks will not begin until 2021.

He revealed to the UTD Podcast: “I played central defender for the most part, when I started playing football, either central defence or right-back.

“I liked to play as a right-back because I was aggressive at the time, I was that guy who wanted to give tackles and everything.”

Before he added: “I was really good, I had a coach who said to me, 'If you want to be a top player, you will need to play as a central defender, if you want to be a good player, you will be a midfielder.”

Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer eventually swooped for ex-Paris Saint Germain hitman Edinson Cavani – who had been available for THREE MONTHS.

In an interview with Mexican website TUDN, Jimenez confirmed United and Juve wanted him.

He said: “During vacations or a transfer window, a new team will come out every day. What I knew was about the news, rumours.

“But an agreement was never reached, nothing close, but I’m very good at Wolves.”
